ISABEL DEAKIN | KIN WORKSHOP
Isabel Deakin is a Naarm/ Melbourne based textile artist. Her work is influenced by craft techniques and architectural forms. Through this intersection, she repositions textiles as a sculptural medium.

Isabel is interested in the labour of craft and the history of textiles including their assocciation with the ad hoc, domestic and feminine.
In 2022 Isabel completed a residency at the Australian Tapestry Workshop
